Buying an industrial machine shouldn't take three months.
The used-machinery market still runs on phone calls, PDF catalogues and brokers who take a cut without adding much. Listings sit scattered across dozens of national sites, with no way to tell which are still current. When you need a specific CNC lathe or press brake, you either know someone who has one, or you spend weeks tracking it down.
We built eMachy so you don't have to know a guy.
One marketplace for the machines that actually build things.
eMachy is a B2B marketplace for industrial machinery. Sellers list their machines. Buyers search, save and contact the seller directly. That's the entire model. We don't take a commission, we don't sit in the middle of your negotiation, and we don't sell your enquiry on to three of your competitors.
Browsing costs nothing. Searching, saving and contacting sellers are free for buyers. The platform is paid for by sellers buying credits to list, which keeps our incentive pointed at matching the right machine to the right buyer rather than at taking a slice of the deal.
The platform runs in six languages: English, Serbian, Croatian, Slovenian, Macedonian and German. Use it in whichever one is yours.
We didn't research this problem. We grew up next to it.
There are five of us: four who write software, and one whose family has been selling industrial machines since 1986.
That last one runs Silicon+, a family business in Sremska Mitrovica that started out making bandsaw blades from Swiss steel and grew into machinery sales and service.
So we never had to imagine how a machine actually gets sold. We watched it happen: over the phone, over email, through printed catalogues that were out of date the week they arrived. Four decades of that is a lot of hard-won knowledge about exactly which parts are broken.
We started eMachy to modernise that. Buyers search one catalogue instead of a separate site for every country: full-text search across make, model and description, filters for category, condition, price, year and distance, and a map showing where every machine actually sits.
Sellers publish a machine once, with photos and full specifications, and every enquiry it produces lands in one inbox they can track from first message to closed deal.
How eMachy works
For buyers
Search
Filter by category, condition, price, year, country and distance. Grid view or map view, whichever way you think.
Save
Keep the machines you're serious about in one list, and save a search to hear about new ones.
Contact
Send a quote request straight to the seller. No broker, no forwarded email, no cut.
For sellers
List
Publish your machine with photos, full specifications and a location pin on the map.
Get leads
Every enquiry lands in one inbox and gets tracked from New to Won, so you stop chasing threads across three email accounts.
Close
Talk to the buyer directly. You pay per listing, never a percentage of the sale.
What we stand for
No middlemen
The buyer and the seller talk to each other directly. We don't sit in the middle, we don't add a markup, and we don't take a cut when the deal closes.
Sellers are companies, not anonymous accounts
Every seller signs up as a business and gives us their company name, registration number and address. Sellers we have checked ourselves carry a verified badge on their profile.
Pay for the listing, not the deal
Sellers pay to list a machine, using credits they buy up front. What it costs depends on the category - credits to publish, and credits for each renewal - never on what the machine is worth. Nobody pays more just for selling something expensive.
